Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Molecular Biology Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in planning and supporting R&D activities for the development of new products.

This role will provide technical expertise on a project level, integrating into a dynamic and multidisciplinary team. The successful candidate will be expected to demonstrate a proactive attitude and excel in the fast-paced biotechnology industry.

The Molecular Biology Specialist will be responsible for developing qPCR, NGS, and/or CE assays for new product introductions and supporting sustaining activities for existing products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing and carrying out Verification and Validation experiments
  • Troubleshooting challenges, evaluating data, interpreting findings, and upholding detailed records of experiments
  • Recommending and implementing process, procedure, or product changes within the department
  • Leading training sessions and mentoring junior team members

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be considered for this opportunity, you should meet the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, or a related field (upper second-class level) with 4 years of practical experience
  • Or a Master's degree or equivalent experience with 2-3 years of work experience
  • Or a freshly graduated Ph.D.
