Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Molecular Biology Specialist to support our research team in Singapore. The ideal candidate will contribute to the development of cutting-edge skin health diagnostics, working closely with data and bioinformatics teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform various molecular biology techniques such as DNA/RNA extraction from skin and microbiome samples, PCR, qPCR, gel electrophoresis, nucleic acid quantification using Nanodrop or Qubit.
  • Maintain accurate laboratory records and data tracking.
  • Prepare reagents, buffers, and consumables for daily use.
  • Assist in method development and validation for new assays.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams for sample tracking and results analysis.
  • Adhere to laboratory best practices, biosafety standards, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Qualifications:
Required:
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Molecular Biology, Biotechnology, Genetics, or related life sciences field.
  • Hands-on experience with basic molecular biology techniques.
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred:
  • Experience with microbiome-related techniques, including 16S rRNA workflows and qPCR for skin/gut markers.
  • Familiarity with DNA sequencing workflows or microfluidics.
  • Exposure to Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) or ISO-certified laboratory environments.
