Summary The Software Test Analyst is responsible for end-to-end testing of client technologies , ensuring stability, availability, and reliability of systems through thorough planning and execution of testing activities. This role ensures that all testing follows the appropriate methodology and contributes to continuous improvement of business performance. What will you do?Test Planning & Design Analyse business requirements and technical specifications to design comprehensive test plans. Identify test conditions, create test cases, and prepare test data. Test Execution Perform functional, integration, system, and acceptance testing. Execute manual and automated tests, logging results accurately. Defect Management Record, track, and verify defects using defect management tools. Collaborate with developers and business analysts to resolve issues. Reporting Document test results and prepare detailed reports for stakeholders. Provide input on quality metrics and suggest improvements. Compliance & Standards Ensure adherence to organisational testing standards and methodologies. Contribute to process improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate should possess: Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). Knowledge of testing methodologies: System, Integration, and Acceptance Testing. Black-box vs White-box testing. Regression and Exploratory testing. Accessibility and Automation testing. Familiarity with test management tools and defect tracking systems. Typically 2–5 years in software testing. Exposure to large-scale projects and multi-vendor environments. Experience with manual and automation testing tools. Customer service experience is desirable. Analytical skills to interpret requirements and identify gaps. Strong communication and documentation abilities. Ability to work collaboratively in Agile/Scrum environments. Attention to detail and commitment to quality. Common tools: JIRA, TestRail, Selenium, Postman, Azure DevOps and similar. Understanding of automation frameworks and scripting is an advantage.
