#HOT JOB #L2 Products / Application Support Engineer 12-month contract (extendable and convertible)About the Role: We are seeking a self-driven L2 Products / Application Support Engineer to join a dynamic team supporting and maintaining business-critical trading and financial systems. This role offers exposure to complex applications, cloud environments, and operations-critical processes. Key Responsibilities: Take ownership of 1–2 systems , fully supporting and managing them end-to-end. Work closely with internal stakeholders, solution vendors, and platform specialists to deliver production changes. Ensure compliance with internal controls and standard operating procedures, including vulnerability fixes, audit evidence collection, and system hygiene maintenance. Perform application recovery, verification, non-functional testing, and continuous monitoring. Identify system breakpoints, security vulnerabilities, anomalies, and perform troubleshooting. Must-Have Skills & Requirements: Strong hands‐on experience with Linux/Unix and Windows operating systems . Good experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure), including deploying applications, configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting. Knowledge of FIX protocols is a significant advantage. Ability to write scripts in Shell, Python, SQL, or PowerShell . Strong verbal and written communication skills. Operations‐focused mindset with dedication to system reliability. Flexible to work beyond normal office hours when required ( no overnight shifts ). Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. 1+ year experience as a System Analyst, Production Support, or similar role. Good-to-Have Skills & Experience: Experience in trading application support . Understanding of derivatives, clearing, and settlement & Trade lifecylcle processes .
