Assistant HR Manager (Generalist, West) - Human Resources Location: Singapore West Work Type: Permanent Exp in Full spectrum of HR Exp in Employee engagement and benefits Exp in Payroll management Responsibilities Work hand-in-hand with HR Manager in ensuring the smooth running of day-to-day HR operations activities; Support the delivery of annual HR functional initiatives including the performance management process, salary review and employee reward process, employee engagement survey, talent management and succession planning Provide HR business partnering advisory and support to Business units to meet business strategy.supporting strategic HR business partnering by implementing solutions to support the business Provide expert advice and guidance to line managers in all employee relations matters Assist with the deployment of HR programs and initiatives that build effective leadership capability Manage all employee life cycle activities Take ownership and lead on key HR projects as part of longer-term HR strategies. Maintaining timely and accurate employee data update on the HR systems/record Foster team cohesiveness Mentoring/provide necessary guidance to HR team Audit and analyse data as and when required Making a difference as a Team-ongoing review to streamline, optimize, re-allocate, re-design, etc. Back up HR & Admin team members when necessary Any other ad-hoc HR tasks and projects Requirements Degree Holders (HR Academic qualification preferred) Minimum 10 years of HR Generalist & business partnering experience with proven track record (at least 5 years in people management role) Strong knowledge in local employment law practices and other HR related government regulations & initiatives; including all work passes matters (new pass, renewal & termination) Working experience in MNC Environment Collaborate with stakeholders to tailor a 'fit for purpose' solution Demonstrated ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively Able to live according to our corporate values: Determined, Collaborative, Reliable and Innovative. Effective Communicator – Communicate clearly and concisely through written and spoken language, and are comfortable interacting with all stakeholders to get them to understand your perspective & to establish effective working relationships with a variety of people at different levels both internally and externally Analytical – The ability to visualize and articulate complex problems and see a situation from different points of view Negotiator – A good sense of judgment and have the ability to influence and convince others to achieve the desired outcome Added advantage to have experiences with Workday and Timesoft payroll software with full hands-on payroll processing Meticulous and able to integrate relevant information to develop solutions and solve issues Expatriates management experience will be an added advantage Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced and dynamic environment Involvement in annual insurance renewal process preferred People-oriented team player with good interpersonal and communication skills Positive thinker, pro-active (forward thinking) and receptive to dynamic changes & constructive feedback Able to carry out tasks under competitive environment or within short notice Multi-tasking, resourceful and proactive with sense of urgency Microsoft office (Excel, Words, Power Point) (with VISO will be an advantaged) Interested candidates who wish to apply for the advertised position, please email us an updated copy of your resume or contact our office at +65 67093301 for a confidential discussion.
