We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Business Development Executive to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, fostering strong client relationships, and promoting our logistics services to expand our market presence. This role requires a deep understanding of logistics operations, strong communication skills, and a passion for driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to promote the company’s logistics services, including freight forwarding, contract logistics, and supply chain solutions.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to understand their logistics requirements and provide tailored solutions.
  • Ensure service quality and SOPs align with customer expectations, maintaining high satisfaction levels.
  • Collaborate with suppliers and 3PL partners to develop competitive solutions and maximize profit margins.
  • Liaise with internal Dimerco units to jointly develop and promote Contract Logistics offerings to targeted customer segments.
  • Monitor and ensure customer quotations remain valid; maintain and update pricing tables in the system while ensuring billing compliance.
  • Manage customer contract validity and ensure timely uploading and maintenance in internal systems.
  • Track customer spending against agreed budgets and prepare costing or variance reports as required.
  • Coordinate onboarding of new customer projects and ensure a smooth handover to the operations team.
  • Maintain and periodically update the customer database to ensure accuracy and completeness of information.
