We are looking for an Operational Risk Specialist to be an integral member of the Ops COO - Operational Risk Management team. The role involves managing Risk and Control Governance Forums in collaboration with key cross-functional and locational stakeholders, aiming to drive improvements in key risk areas, operational resilience, and risk mitigation in Group Operations.

The incumbent will need to lead risk reviews, establish risk metrics and dashboards in the Risk Control Tower, facilitate risk decisions and approvals from senior management, and drive initiatives to enhance resiliency and operational effectiveness.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Drive and manage Risk and Control Governance Forums.
  • Perform risk reviews to identify and assess key risks.
  • Lead the design and establishment of risk dashboards and metrics in the Risk Control Tower.
  • Lead or participate in Operational Risk Management initiatives and projects.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 8 years of experience in operations or operational risk management, preferably in banking or financial services.
  • Strong stakeholder management, communication, and influence skills.
  • Ability to adapt quickly in a dynamic environment and keep pace with rapid business changes.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in data visualization tools like QlikView or Tableau.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
