Early Intervention Teacher Position

This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified and passionate educator to take on the role of Early Intervention Teacher. As an Early Intervention Teacher, you will be responsible for developing and implementing individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students in need.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Study client behavior and apply behavioral therapy principles to create effective IEPs.
  • Assess student performance and track their progress throughout the year.
  • Update IEPs regularly to reflect student growth and goals.
  • Manage a group of students in a classroom setting and provide individual support as needed.
  • Recognize and respond to critical improvements in students' behaviors and implement strategies to maintain progress.
  • Familiarize yourself with behavioral redirection techniques and use them appropriately to promote positive outcomes.
  • Respond to negative behaviors in a professional and constructive manner.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and communicate with managers and parents as necessary.

Requirements:

  • Candidates without direct experience are encouraged to apply; training will be provided.
  • A minimum qualification of Nitec in Special Education or related field is required.
  • A strong understanding of best practices in inclusive education and special needs support is essential.
  • The ability to start immediately is a plus.

Key Qualifications:

  • Nitec in Special Education or equivalent
  • Strong understanding of behavioral therapy principles
  • Ability to work with diverse learners
  • Excellent communication skills
