Description We are seeking a responsible and proactive Network Operations Support to provide first‑line operational support and monitoring of network infrastructure across our site. The role involves real‑time incident monitoring, basic troubleshooting, coordination with operators, and escalation to higher support levels when needed. Working Hours: Mon‑Fri Working Location: North Job Type: Contract (renewable) Salary Package: Up to $6000 (basic) + AWS Key Responsibilities Provide first‑line operational support for day‑to‑day network operations and incident monitoring. Perform standby duties and participate in a duty roster rotation for after‑hours alert response. Support and maintain structured cabling systems (copper, fiber, dark fiber). Operate and interpret results from network testing tools , including OTDR, power meter, light source, and cable certifiers. Troubleshoot and elevate incidents according to established procedures and escalation tiers. Coordinate with on‑site operators and Level 2 (L2) support for technical assistance when required. Maintain incident logs and ensure accurate tracking and closure of alerts. Requirements Basic understanding of network infrastructure (switches, cabling, and connectivity). Familiarity with incident monitoring systems and network testing tools . Strong sense of responsibility and situational awareness in handling alerts and incidents. Willingness to perform standby duty and work outside office hours when required. Good communication and teamwork skills.
