NTU is seeking a highly motivated and adaptive candidate to build and foster a risk mitigated research environment for academic/scientific driven international collaborations to thrive in. The job holder will play an important role in drafting policy, implementing guidelines, and advocating best practices on risk assessment and mitigation relating to international
collaborations.
Responsibilities:
Engage internal and external stakeholders for the common understanding of primary, evolving and emerging concerns in the fundamental research security ecosystem;
Raise awareness among the university community on research security;
Develop toolkit, best practices and enhance guidelines relating to upholding integrity of international research collaboration;
Ensure codified guidelines are consistently implemented and observed across research units; ensure research collaboration supporting units operate and comply with established procedures to support research collaboration owners;
Leading and coordinating internal support units to conduct risk assessment and mitigation evaluation of collaborations; providing guidance to project / collaboration leads in risk considerations, cost-benefits, risk management and mitigation;
Conduct ongoing compliance review on projects operating with specific risk mitigation measures;
Support scheduled (triennial) compliance audit/inspection readiness; lead in compliance audit outcome reporting and feedback for improvement;
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree with at least 5 years in research
management/administration
or similar roles in compliance
Experience in R&D sector or in higher education sector will be advantageous
Knowledge or experience in reviewing and developing policies and procedures
Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills
Strong problem-solving skills to address challenges and find solutions
Demonstrate a deep understanding of the business landscape and possesses the ability to make well-informed decisions
Flexible and adaptable to navigate in changing circumstances
