  • As the Director, Biometrics at Syneos Health, you will be responsible for providing strategic and operational leadership for the Biometrics function in the India region. Your role will involve overseeing the India Biometrics team, ensuring their performance aligns with global expectations and strategic direction. You will collaborate closely with global heads of Biostatistics, Programming, and Data Science to translate strategic initiatives into regional operational execution, focusing on quality, process harmonization, and compliance.Your responsibilities will include leading the development and continuous refinement of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Work Instructions (WIs), and training programs that comply with global standards and regulatory expectations. You will also be responsible for driving process improvements, ensuring compliance with training certification processes, and leading root cause analysis and improvement efforts in response to Quality Issues (QIs) and audit findings.In addition, you will play a key role in engaging internal and external stakeholders to drive strategy and foster a culture of operational excellence. You will lead workforce planning and recruitment strategies, mentor and support regional Biometrics personnel, and ensure the achievement of Biometrics BU financial targets through strategic resourcing and operational excellence.To qualify for this role, you should have an advanced degree (Masters or Ph.D.) in Biostatistics, Statistics, Data Science, Computer Science, Life Sciences, or a related discipline. You should have a minimum of 12-15 years of experience in clinical research and biometrics functions, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role. Knowledge of clinical trial processes, statistical methodologies, CDISC standards, and regulatory submission requirements is essential, along with strong leadership, collaboration, and communication skills.As the Director, Biometrics, you will have the opportunity to lead a talented team, drive process improvements, and contribute to the overall success of the Biometrics function in the India region.
