What the role is:
The GRaduate Industry Traineeship Programme within the Public Service ( ) aims to provide fresh graduates with opportunities to gain industry-relevant skills and experience that can strengthen their employability to take up full time roles in the sector. MOH - Traditional & Complementary Medicine (TCM) Branch offers an excellent learning opportunity for the trainee to become familiar with both policy work and the Whole-of-Government grants management framework, including risk assessment processes. For those interested in developing careers as clinical Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioners (TCMPs), through stakeholders engagements, this role provides valuable insight into the sector's landscape, challenges, and opportunities for future career development.
What you will be working on:
The trainee will assist the TCM Branch team with stakeholders’ engagement and oversight of grant management and administration for the TCM Research Grant and TCM Development Grant.

Other requirements include:
Degree in health sciences-related disciplines and/or Traditional Chinese Medicine will be advantageous
As there are a lot of TCM practitioners who only speak in Mandarin, the trainee is expected to be bilingual in English and Chinese for both written and spoken communication
