What the role is: As a New Media Officer in the Public Affairs Department, you create and execute SPF's social media strategies to establish a strong and credible online presence. You will be part of a team responsible for curating and publishing engaging social media content to raise public awareness on safety and security issues in Singapore. You will also be responsible for analysing and sense‐making data collected to measure the success of SPF's social media content, scanning areas of improvement and making recommendations to enhance the online engagement efforts. You will be placed under the Management Executive Officer Scheme. What you will be working on: You will play a key role in shaping how we connect with the public through social media platforms, ensuring our content is engaging, impactful and backed with data‐driven insights. Here are the key responsibilities: Manage the SPF's official social media platforms, ensuring timely accurate and engaging updates. Curate and create compelling content to reach diverse audiences. Monitor and analyse performances of posts, providing insights to improve reach and engagement. Track digital trends and provide suggestions to strengthen online presence. What we are looking for: We are looking for a dynamic and creative New Media Officer to join our team. Requirements: Field of studies, preferably in Mass Communications, Public Relations, Marketing or a related discipline. Degree holder in other disciplines with strong interest and experience in content creation will also be considered. Be proficient in English and at least one other official language in Singapore. Be social media savvy and preferably with 2 years of experience in creating and curating social media content on Facebook, Instagram and TikTok. Good knowledge in design and editing software such as Adobe suite and CapCut. Proficient in use of Microsoft Excel. Knowledge in event and studio photography is a plus. Independent, adaptable and a good team player. Strong interpersonal, analytical, written, and verbal communications skills. Meticulous and methodical.
