Inventory Management Expert & Procurement Specialist

The role of Inventory Management Expert & Procurement Specialist is a key position in ensuring the smooth operation of inventory management processes. This involves maintaining accurate and up-to-date inventory levels, managing stock, and ensuring timely availability of products.

This includes tracking inventory movement, conducting stock audits, reconciling discrepancies, and collaborating with other departments to ensure that inventory meets operational needs.

The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure. Proficiency in inventory management software and basic accounting knowledge are also essential.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate records of inventory levels and track stock movements.
  • Monitor stock levels and reorder products in a timely manner to avoid stockouts or overstocking.
  • Ensure proper storage and organization of products to optimize space and prevent product damage.

Additional responsibilities include:

  • Monitoring of Stock Movement:
    • Track inventory stocks in warehouse and system.
    • Prepare and maintain detailed reports on stock levels, movements, and audit findings.
  • Order Processing and Order Management:
    • Create purchase orders and update items into the system.
    • Match item codes and stock inventory against sales orders to ensure adequate supply before issuing delivery orders.
    • Generate delivery orders and liaise with warehouse to ensure timely delivery.
  • Receiving and Issuing Stock:
    • Oversee the receipt of goods, ensuring proper documentation and inspection.
    • Coordinate the issuance of stock to destinations as required.

Key qualifications include:

  • ITE or Diploma in Business, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
  • 1-2 years of experience in inventory management or a related field.
  • Familiarity with inventory management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
  • Basic accounting knowledge is preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel (e.g., data entry, pivot tables).
