Job Title: Inventory Control Specialist

About this role:

This position involves overseeing the inventory control process within an organization. You will be accountable for ensuring that all inventory transactions are accurate and up-to-date, and that stock levels are maintained at optimal levels.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Liaise with internal stakeholders to manage picking and delivery/collection of goods to ensure timely delivery to customers.
  • Ensure documentation is complete for all transactions and filing of documents is timely.
  • Receive and process finished goods, raw materials, and miscellaneous purchases.
  • Update and process required transactions in our system.
  • Analyze data and prepare periodic and ad-hoc reports.
  • Collate and submit overtime and incentives for the team.
  • Conduct regular stock checks and bi-annual stock takes.
  • Manage departmental supplies, tools, and equipment.
  • Maintain a safe and clean working environment.

Requirements:

  • Diploma in any discipline with at least 2 years of logistics/warehousing experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of applications.
  • Meticulous and excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Able to make impromptu decisions in a fast-paced working environment.
