Inventory Management Expert

The Field Inventory Specialist plays a crucial role in overseeing and controlling inventory across various sales and distribution channels, including loaners, consignment, and trunk stock. This encompasses ensuring the efficient utilization of assets, compliance with agreements and internal policies, and optimizing stock rotation to minimize losses from expiration and maximize ROI.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure accurate inventory management across multiple channels and locations, coordinating inventory movement during on-call and off-hour periods.
  • Manage and monitor loaner inventory during deployment and returns, guaranteeing accuracy and exceptional customer service.
  • Collaborate with Distribution or Territory Managers and Finance to reconcile inventory variances and maintain accurate inventory systems.
  • Enforce inventory policies, resolve issues related to lost, damaged, or expired inventory, and manage inventory under consignment agreements to ensure compliance and asset tracking.

This role requires a profound understanding of inventory control, supply chain, and logistics management. Proficiency in managing various field-based inventory channels, familiarity with auditing and reconciliation processes, and adeptness in data analysis for production planning are essential.
