Job Title: Inventory Manager

The Inventory Manager is responsible for the day-to-day management of the company's inventory, ensuring that all goods are received, allocated, and stored correctly.

  • Receiving and allocating stocks accordingly.
  • Verifying all goods arrived as per Purchaser order, delivery note and agreed quantity has been received.
  • Conducting daily checks on storage facilities to ensure upkeep and hygiene standards are met.
  • Refusing acceptance of damaged, unacceptable, or incorrect items.
  • Maintaining cleanliness of all areas, keeping storage areas clean & tidy and in strict compliance with hygiene regulations.
  • Ensuring all store requisitions are signed by requestor.
  • Ensuring the quantity requested and the quantity issued always matches.
  • Entering store requisition form signatures into the Inventory/Materials Management System.
  • Monitoring stock levels using smart inventory systems.
  • Adhering to all Safety procedures.
  • Performing regular inventory audits to determine inventory levels and needs.
  • Completing requisition forms for inventory and supplies.
  • Collaborating closely with Purchasing to order and receive items and equipment.
  • Following up with vendors for any delivery issues and overseeing/following up on the return process.
  • Tracking received inventory and completing inventory reports and logs.
  • Performing any other duties as assigned by management or supervisors.
