As a Senior Data Scientist (Onchain Analytics) , you’ll work at the intersection of data science and compliance—leveraging advanced analytics, machine learning, and blockchain data to enhance anti-financial crime (FinCrime) frameworks. This high-impact role is essential to powering next-gen compliance systems such as AML detection engines and supporting audit and risk assessments. Collaborate with FinCrime & Compliance teams to enhance operational efficiency and risk mitigation through data insights. Interpret blockchain and transaction data to identify patterns, risks, and optimization opportunities. Design, develop, and maintain ML-driven compliance systems (e.g., for AML detection). Support audit requests, QA testing, and model validation activities. Drive innovation from PoC to production in new analytics or compliance-focused solutions. Lead complex projects independently while handling day-to-day analytical support. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or higher in a quantitative discipline; PhD preferred. 8+ years of experience in data science, ideally in fintech, blockchain, or compliance tech. Proven experience with onchain data analytics or AML transaction monitoring systems. Strong programming skills: Python, SQL , and familiarity with AWS ML services . Experience with ML model deployment and lifecycle management. Passion for translating cutting-edge academic research into applied solutions.
