Job Title: Baking Professional

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Baking Professional. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and baking breads and cakes, maintaining a clean and sanitized kitchen environment, and adhering to all relevant health and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and bake breads and cakes to high standards of quality and presentation.
  • Maintain a clean and sanitized kitchen environment at all times, including equipment and utensils.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations, including proper food handling and storage procedures.
  • Operate equipment safely and efficiently, reporting any faults or maintenance requirements to management promptly.
  • Work effectively as part of a team, supporting colleagues and contributing to a positive and productive work environment.
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external customers, providing excellent service and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Requirements:

  • Professional Certificate/NITEC or equivalent qualification in baking or a related field.
  • Ability to learn and adapt quickly, with a strong commitment to ongoing professional development.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and customers.
  • Positive attitude and strong work ethic, with a focus on delivering high-quality results and exceeding customer expectations.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
