Job Opportunity: Cleaning and Support Staff

Cleaner West, Clementi requires a dedicated individual to maintain cleanliness of classrooms, offices, common areas, and student facilities.

  • Responsibilities include cleaning floors, surfaces, and equipment as well as maintaining stock levels of cleaning supplies.
  • Must be able to prepare simple meals when needed and assist with washing dishes.

Successful candidates will have previous experience in a similar role preferably in a school setting demonstrating competence in maintaining cleanliness.

  • Essential requirements include knowledge of food safety standards, hygiene practices, and proper cleaning techniques.
  • Ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment with young children and adapt to their needs.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with staff are also necessary.
  • Physical stamina and ability to perform tasks that involve standing, bending, lifting, and moving around the center are required.

A certificate in Food Handling and Safety is an advantage but not essential.
