The hiring company is one of the leading commodity trading conglomerates established in Indonesia and has a business presence worldwide.
The role of the Junior Accountant will be based out of its Singapore office in the CBD area. The successful candidate will be one who works well in a cross-functional liaison setting and has a strong sense of self-leadership.
Responsibilities include:
Prepare the Journal Entry and approve the Invoices posted by the Operations team (AP & APR Process, GL)
Prepare the payment instruction and check according to the rule
Prepare the GST form and submit it to the tax agent
Liaise with the auditor to prepare for AFS
Monitor the collection of contracts using software
Review the contract sheet with each counterparty
Perform other financial and accounting duties as required
Requirements:
Min Diploma/Degree in Accountancy and Finance or related field
Fair Value accounting / Hedge accounting expertise is a good to have.
Flexible and ability to work well in a cross-functional liaison setting
