Chemical Manufacturing - HSE Specialist | Office Hours | Up to $5,000 + AWS | Tuas
Join a global leader in chemical manufacturing and play a vital role in ensuring workplace safety and operational compliance. This is a hands-on HSES role where you'll directly support safety initiatives, compliance audits, and training for teams on the ground.

You'll be part of a dedicated team driving continuous improvements across Health, Safety, Environment & Security (HSES) functions—making a real difference to site safety and employee wellbeing.

  • Mon - Fri, Office Hours (8am - 5pm)
  • 12 months contract (Subject for extension / possibility for conversion)
  • Up to $5000 + AWS + Medical Plan + Annual Leave Office located at Tuas

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Provide technical HSES support for ongoing and upcoming projects, including site inspections, audits, and incident investigations
  • Conduct and support training for new hires, visitors, contractors, and internal teams on safety practices and procedures
  • Assist with permit-to-work systems and documentation (e.g. Safe Work Permits, Life Saving Permits)
  • Participate in job safety analysis, pre-startup reviews, process hazard analysis, and change management
  • Support chemical management, including tracking and updating Safety Data Sheets (SDS)
  • Maintain HSES documentation, compliance records, and digital backups
  • Stay up to date with regulations (OSHA, EPA, DOT) and assist in ensuring site compliance
  • Track and close action items from safety audits or incidents
  • Contribute to monthly safety meetings and employee safety engagement activities
  • Support emergency response training and may be part of the Emergency Response (ER) team
  • Assist in waste management and monitoring industrial hygiene if needed

Who We're Looking For:

  • At least 3 years of HSES, Environmental, Process Safety experience
  • Prior experience in a chemical plant is preferred; other manufacturing environments may also be considered
  • Able to participate in the emergency response (ER) team
  • Singaporean only
