Mandai Wildlife Group is the steward of Mandai Wildlife Reserve, a unique wildlife and nature destination in Singapore that is home to world-renown wildlife parks which connect visitors to the fascinating world of wildlife. The Group is driving an exciting rejuvenation plan at Mandai Wildlife Reserve, adjacent to Singapore’s Central Catchment Nature Reserve, that will integrate five wildlife parks with distinctive nature-based experiences, green public spaces and an eco-friendly resort.
We are looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented Senior Executive - Communications to join our communications team. This is a junior-level role suited for someone with a strong foundation in communications and a passion for storytelling, content creation, and brand building. The ideal candidate will assist in planning, creating, and executing communication strategies that engage internal and external stakeholders.
Job Duties And Responsibilities
Assist in planning and executive communication initiatives including campaigns and events.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams to gather and disseminate information.
Build and maintain relationships with local and international media outlets.
Support media relations efforts, including drafting press releases, related social media content, media pitches, and maintaining media lists.
Support organic influencer outreach initiatives.
Coordinate media requests or visits, including facilitating on-site filming.
Collaborate media requests or visits, including facilitating on-site filming.
Collaborate with the Content Generation team for social media content for milestone announcements.
Monitor media coverage and provide regular reports and insights.
Ensure consistent brand messaging across all communication channels.
Track and report communication metrics and performance.
Job Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Mass Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field.
Minimum 1-3 years of relevant work experience in communications, PR, content creation, or media.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Good editing, proofreading, and storytelling abilities.
Familiarity with media relations and social media platforms.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Creative mindset with an eye for detail.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office; knowledge of tools like Adobe Suite, or CMS platforms is a plus.
Mandarin writing and Mandarin speaking candidates would be advantageous.
Shortlisted candidates will be required to complete a written assessment to evaluate their communication, writing, and editing skills.
