Instrument Specialist

Responsibilities include:

  • Draft technical procedures and documents related to instruments, collaborate with colleagues in the maintenance and optimization of processes, and ensure their implementation;
  • Conduct laboratory events and deviation investigations related to instrument management, identify issues and implement solutions;
  • Initiate changes related to instrument management, track progress, and execute tasks on time;
  • Provide assistance to analysts in troubleshooting during testing, and offer training on relevant skills when necessary;
  • Evaluate data integrity of various instrument systems and improve the department's level of data integrity;
  • Stay up-to-date with regulatory documents from various countries, such as CP, USP, JP, and EP, and refer to these documents when updating internal procedures;
  • Participate in customer audits and government inspections, address identified issues promptly, and ensure GMP compliance;
  • Monitor work progress, enhance communication with internal and external clients, and establish stable relationships.

Requirements:

  • Pharmacy or Chemistry related major, bachelor's degree or above;
  • Understanding of pharmaceutical production, testing, and quality management, familiarity with GMP regulations;
  • Proficient in English and Chinese, fluent spoken English and Chinese for effective communication;
  • Good computer skills and experience in analytical testing and quality management;
  • At least 3 years of experience in managing analytical instruments, priority given to candidates with GMP instrument management experience;
  • Familiarity with industry laws and regulations regarding analytical instruments, data integrity, and software requirements;
  • Strong problem-solving skills, ability to handle on-site issues, good coordination, and communication skills;
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work under pressure;
  • Ability to determine problems, gather information, understand facts, and draw correct conclusions;
  • Project management and tracking skills, ability to manage budgets and assets effectively.
