Job Description:
We are seeking a talented Portfolio Manager to join our team. As a key member of our portfolio management team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing long-term and medium-term multi-asset class strategies to maximize impact to the total portfolio.
A Day in the Life:
  • You will participate in research to design, enhance and validate medium to high capacity systematic trading strategies in Commodities and/or Managed Futures space.
  • You will perform portfolio management tasks including strategy rebalancing, position monitoring, performance and risk.
  • You will develop and improve processes for portfolio management and execution strategy across different instruments and vehicles in a scalable and risk-controlled manner.
  • You will work closely with senior portfolio managers, researchers, trading and technologists to integrate models into production and enhance investment workflows and processes.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • You have 2-5 years of experience in quantitative research, trading and/or portfolio management, preferably in a commodities and/or managed futures role with demonstrated ability to generate and execute ideas/trades that are profitable and scalable.
  • You have relevant experience in a systematic trading fund is a plus.
  • You hold a Bachelor's degree with a major in finance, economics, statistics, or other related quantitative field from a leading university.
  • You have exceptional quantitative and statistical skills, with the ability to use data to research and back test investment intuitions and hypotheses.
  • You have meticulous attention to detail with an ability to remain focused on different portfolio types and activities.
  • You have strong technical and coding skills. Proficiency in R or Python is essential.
  • You have strong communication skills. The ability to present strategies and share coherent ideas is required.
