Job Description
As an
SAP Payroll Functional Consultant , you will be responsible to configure, design, develop, implement and maintain projects; provide consultancy services; specialize on ERP products; ensure the quality of services and achieve customer satisfaction.
What will you do?
To provide SAP Payroll HR application maintenance support.
To support the complex solution to ensure that all the employees (>190K employees) are paid on time.
Customize payroll schemas, rules, and calculations to comply with local tax, regulatory, and legal requirements, including configuring wage types and deductions.
Investigate all reported problems/errors & initiate amendments & testing so that the system can operate correctly & efficiently.
Propose effective work-around or alternative solution, oversee the selection of solutions and estimate resources/cost required to implement the proposed solution to meet customer's requirements
Manage changes to configurable items. It covers configuration management planning, configuration identification, configuration controls & audits.
Conduct review & integration testing to ensure the quality of deliverables before handing over to users for UAT.
Develop test package, execute test and document test results to ensure the quality of the program.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate should possess:
Experience in Payroll Module (PCR, Schema, Wage Types and etc.)
Preferably at least 4 to 6 years of experience with implementation / maintenance, consulting, pre-sales or as end-user using the above product
Good knowledge with hands-on experience in managing IT incidents and problems.
Good analytical skills with ability to quickly establish cause of system issue reported.
Good interpersonal skills with ability to work with others to resolve problems.
Ability to communicate information well to co-workers and management verbally and in writing.
Able to work independently as well as an excellent team player
Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
Able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, time-management skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
Sense of ownership and pride in your work
Degree in Computer Science or related disciplines
