Overview
Executive Director / Director, Diversified Industries
(DI) Sector, Asia-Pacific (excl. Japan), reporting to Head of DI. This role promotes and originates event-driven deals in the DI sector across Asia-Pacific, with a focus on covering clients in Southeast Asia and India.
Responsibilities
Lead event deal origination, leveraging own sector knowledge, structuring expertise, deal experience, and client relationships, across the following key products
Corporate finance, Acquisition finance (Recourse / Non-recourse), Other structured products (incl. Securitization/Project finance) etc.
M&A advisory, DCM, ECM, ABS, etc.
Ancillary businesses in the event-driven deals such as foreign exchange, derivatives, trade financing and transaction banking, etc.
As a senior sector coverage banker, lead communication with C-Suite (CEO, CFO, etc.) and M&A decision makers of each client;
Collaborate with country coverage bankers and product bankers, including regions outside APAC ex-JP (Americas, EMEA and Japan) to originate relevant client solutions;
Lead strategic client dialogues by analysing their business needs, M&A strategies, business structures, investment plans, financials, credit, etc. Create presentation materials and visit clients to promote Mizuho Financial Group's products.
