As a Market Risk System Analyst at Upskills, you will have a great chance to practice including but not limited to:
Analyze user requirements and assist in test execution.
Work will also include preparing the functional specifications, working closely with the dev team to clarify functional changes, preparing test cases, and executing them (e.g., deal booking, performing events as per user requirements in SIT, UAT).
The candidate is expected to work closely and communicate effectively and independently with project managers, developers, business users, and external vendors.
Responsible for doing Requirement Analysis in Middle Office space for various asset classes.
Ability to analyze and understand product requirements and offer solutions and support to facilitate the rollouts.
Work closely with Middle Office business to gather requirements in VaR modules, MRAL reporting, FRTB computation, and reporting in Murex system.
Be responsible for understanding the business needs, identifying business solutions, and validating the pros and cons of technical solution options.
Ability to prepare test cases based on user requirements and take the lead/assist in test execution and obtain business user signoffs.
Requirements
Master's or Bachelor's Degree in Financial Engineering or Applied Finance, Computer Science, or relevant disciplines.
At least 3 years experience in Murex Middle office and Risk modules of Mx 3.3 platform.
Exposure to Financial Markets and Derivative products.
Strong exposure to trade lifecycle across front office, middle office, and back office tiers.
Detailed knowledge of Murex Front/Middle office and Risk modules.
Strong knowledge and experience with Linux, Unix, Shell Scripting.
Ability to lead and manage the delivery of tasks to schedule.
Good analytical skills.
Highly committed and motivated to learn in the Financial Market.
Proactive with high organization skills.
Outstanding communication with the maturity to interact across senior people from the customer.
Proven track of records and references.
Skill set
SQL, Murex, Unix, Linux, Shell Scripting, Trading, VaR, Risk System Analyst, Financial Engineering, Capital Markets, Treasury, Banking, Control M, UAT.
