Lead for Portfolio Enablement

The primary role of this position is to ensure market readiness and sales success of a portfolio across the Asia Pacific Zone.

This includes driving portfolio positioning, managing distribution strategies, deriving regional pricing development, ensuring quality and availability, and supporting sales through in-depth portfolio knowledge and training.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Portfolio Feedback & Adaptation:
    • Ensure portfolio 'sellability' and 'orderability' across all relevant Asia Pacific Zone locations.
    • Understand and influence the portfolio roadmap by consolidating customer requirements and passing it on to the global level.
    • Collect competitor information, trends, and technologies to position the portfolio.
    • Manage product-specific quality topics and escalations of quality issues.
    • Support pilot customers and proof-of-concept implementations for new products.
    • Ensure product conformity with region-specific regulatory topics.
    • Handle and address intellectual property protection issues and grey channel cases.
  • PLM Support:
    • Execute and manage product launches.
    • Handle new product introductions and end-of-life processes.
    • Drive incubation topics within the Asia Pacific Zone and define go-to-market strategies for relevant locations.
  • Regulatory & Compliance:
    • Support customs departments with import issues.
    • Provide product expertise for managing tariffs and trade regulations.
  • Pricing:
    • Understand market and competitor pricing and provide input to headquarters and relevant teams.
    • Derive price positioning and discount structures.
  • Sales Enablement & Training:
    • Provide input and conduct training content for internal and external customers.
    • Support sales for portfolio-related questions.
  • Marketing Intelligence & Brand Positioning:
    • Conduct analysis on existing markets and offerings, competitors, and new markets.
    • Communicate region-specific sales requirements to marketing teams.
    • Provide input for regional advertising campaigns.
    • Participate in developing winning guides.
    • Develop value-based sales argumentation for the portfolio.
    • Provide input for sales campaigns.
  • Stock & Inventory Management:
    • Manage regional stock strategies.
    • Manage inventory levels.
    • Provide input for local stock levels to logistics teams.
