Job Summary:
This position provides administrative support to the Claims team and involves handling of simple straightforward claims.
Involved Line(s) of Business:
Property & Onshore Construction lines of business
Job Duties:
Assist in system data entry including claim registration, payments and reserve adjustments.
Handle First Notification of Loss (FNOL), enquiries or claims and contact with customers, intermediaries, external service providers, third parties as necessary.
Set up and manage filing and administrative systems to ensure necessary information is recorded, secure and accessible.
Assist in claim files and documents preparation and/or processing for onward handling by respective Claims handlers.
Process/handle simple and straightforward claims under guidance as required.
Identify non-standard claims and escalate to supervisor.
Deliver duties within agreed service turnaround time and claims service KPI targets.
Perform additional duties and responsibilities as warranted.
Qualifications:
Relevant academic qualification.
Administrative skills or experience is preferred.
A good team player and able to work independently.
Possess good interpersonal and customer service skills.
Strong oral and written communication skills in English; proficiency in Mandarin is an advantage.
Ability to work on relevant PC applications.
