Procurement Leader

Purchasing executives play a pivotal role in an organization's success by acquiring goods and services at the most favorable price. They are responsible for devising and executing procurement strategies, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring timely delivery of goods.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Director of Finance to define and implement procurement strategies
  • Source and evaluate suppliers based on factors such as price, quality, service, and reliability
  • Negotiate prices, terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers
  • Issue and manage purchase orders, ensuring proper documentation
  • Track and monitor deliveries to ensure on-time arrival and resolve any issues
  • Maintain accurate records and databases of suppliers, including pricing, contracts, and performance
  • Coordinate with internal departments to understand purchasing needs and support procurement planning

Required Skills:

  • Basic knowledge of purchasing processes and procedures
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and standard office tools
  • Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or related field (Diploma or Bachelor's)
  • Relevant experience in procurement or supply chain is preferred but not required
