**Job Title:** Acquiring Goods and Services Professional

Our organization is seeking a skilled Procurement Leader to play a pivotal role in its success by acquiring goods and services at the most favorable price. This individual will be responsible for devising and executing procurement strategies, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring timely delivery of goods.

**Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Director of Finance to define and implement procurement strategies that align with the organization's goals and objectives.
  • Source and evaluate suppliers based on factors such as price, quality, service, and reliability to ensure the best possible value for the organization.
  • Negotiate prices, terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers to secure the most favorable agreements.
  • Issue and manage purchase orders, ensuring proper documentation and compliance with organizational policies and procedures.
  • Track and monitor deliveries to ensure on-time arrival and resolve any issues that may arise.
  • Maintain accurate records and databases of suppliers, including pricing, contracts, and performance metrics.
  • Coordinate with internal departments to understand purchasing needs and support procurement planning efforts.

**Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Basic knowledge of purchasing processes and procedures, including contract management and supply chain optimization.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and standard office tools, including project management software.
  • Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or related field (Diploma or Bachelor's).
  • Relevant experience in procurement or supply chain management is preferred but not required.
