SAP HCM Functional Consultant (Payroll and Time Management)Senior Business Analyst – SAP HCM (Payroll / Time Evaluation)Overview We are seeking a seasoned SAP HCM Functional Consultant to join our team as a Senior Business Analyst. This role will lead the full lifecycle of SAP HCM initiatives — with a particular emphasis on Payroll and/or Time Evaluation — ensuring compliance with Singapore's statutory requirements such as CPF, SDL, SHG, and IRAS. You will be responsible for gathering and analyzing business requirements, designing and configuring system enhancements, managing change requests, and partnering with HR and cross‐functional teams to deliver efficient, compliant, and scalable HCM solutions across the organization. Key Responsibilities Lead end‐to‐end SAP HCM change requests and enhancement projects — from requirements gathering and solution design to configuration, testing, deployment, and post‐go‐live support. Provide expert‐level functional and technical support for SAP HCM modules, including Payroll and Time Evaluation, ensuring timely and effective issue resolution. Configure and troubleshoot Payroll and Time schemas, PCRs, and related functionalities, with the ability to analyze system logs and perform basic ABAP debugging. Work closely with HR and business stakeholders to identify and implement process improvements, system optimizations, and automation opportunities. Support and maintain integrations between SAP and external systems, ensuring accuracy and integrity of data exchange. Prepare and maintain comprehensive functional documentation in compliance with corporate governance and statutory standards. For Payroll: Handle GL posting configurations and ensure compliance with Singapore statutory payroll rules. For Time: Configure Work Schedule Rules, Absence Quotas, and Absence Types to support accurate time evaluation. Requirements Minimum 6 years of hands‐on experience in SAP HCM implementation and support, with strong focus on Payroll and/or Time Management (Positive Time Evaluation). Proven ability to design, read, and modify Payroll/Time schemas and PCRs independently. Strong understanding of Singapore statutory requirements (CPF, SDL, SHG, IRAS) and their impact on payroll configuration. Experience integrating Personnel Administration and Organizational Management with Payroll and Time modules.Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot, document, and resolve functional issues effectively across multiple teams. Strong analytical mindset with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment. Basic knowledge of ABAP debugging and log analysis. Nice to Have Experience in end‐to‐end SAP HCM design, configuration, and testing across multiple countries or regional setups. Familiarity with integrations involving external HR or payroll systems. Exposure to multi‐country SAP HCM environments and global template rollouts.
