Assistant Laundry Manager

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Laundry Manager to join our team. As a key member of our laundry operations, you will be responsible for assisting the Laundry Manager in the daily operation of guest laundry and collection counter.

  • Check and tag guest garments/linen for defects, discoloration, missing accessories, etc.
  • Follow the job process as stated in the Laundry Procedures - Checking, tagging, washing, drying, pressing, packing of guest laundry.
  • Manage and ensure the cleanliness of the laundry plant and counter.
  • Carry out daily counter operations and duties.
  • Ensure all payments received are accurate and tally with the daily cashier report.
  • Be the direct focal point and direct link with customers on all customer issues.
  • Provide strong leadership in customer-related issues.
  • Other responsibilities may be delegated or stipulated by the manager.

Key Responsibilities

As an Assistant Laundry Manager, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting the Laundry Manager in the daily operation of guest laundry and collection counter.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Preferably with laundry experience.
  • Good command of English in both verbal and written communication.
  • Computer savvy.
  • Confident with a pleasant disposition and well-groomed.
  • A friendly personality and meticulous working attitude.
  • Willing to be hands-on to learn the operation process and able to work independently.
  • To operate and manage production and achieve production KPIs.
