We are seeking a dynamic individual to join our team in the Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) role. In this position, you will support the Head of Department in implementing WSH programs at EGH. Your responsibilities include liaising with the Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) coordinator of various departments on the implementation and reporting of EHS, collaborating with the Hospital Services Planning team on safety design and work activities within construction sites, reviewing risk assessments and permits to work, maintaining EGH's risk registry, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations, and supporting in-house WSH training and promotional activities.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in any discipline with at least 2 years of relevant working experience.
  • Proven experience in monitoring workplace safety and health protocols, preferably in healthcare or related fields.
  • Valid registration as a Workplace Safety & Health Officer with the Ministry of Manpower (MOM).
  • Familiarity with safety or quality certification programs such as ISO and safety and health management systems is preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage various stakeholders in a dynamic, growing organization with multi-generational staff.
  • Team player, highly motivated, action-oriented, with strong planning, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure, adapt to change, and manage challenges effectively.
