Fixed Income Trader

We are seeking an experienced professional to join our investment team and execute our fund's fixed income strategy. The successful candidate will be responsible for trading across various fixed income instruments, managing risk, and contributing to portfolio performance while working closely with our portfolio management and research teams.

This role involves executing fixed income trades, implementing portfolio management decisions, monitoring market conditions, and managing trade settlement. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of fixed income instruments, including government bonds, corporate bonds, and derivatives.

The successful candidate will also be responsible for analyzing fixed income markets, yield curves, and credit spreads. They will provide market insights and trading ideas to the investment team and maintain awareness of regulatory changes affecting fixed income markets.

In addition, the candidate will ensure all trades comply with fund guidelines and regulatory requirements. They will maintain accurate records of all trading activities and collaborate with operations, compliance, and risk management teams.

To succeed in this role, the candidate will need a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field. A minimum of 1-2 years of fixed income trading experience is required, as well as a strong track record in fixed income markets.

The ideal candidate will have proficiency in Bloomberg Terminal, Reuters, and other trading platforms. They will also have a deep understanding of fixed income analytics and risk metrics, as well as experience with order management systems (OMS) and portfolio management systems.
