Job Title: Mechanical Equipment Specialist Job Summary:

  • This role involves performing technical maintenance and repair tasks on mechanical equipment, ensuring smooth operation and optimal performance.
  • Responsible for troubleshooting and analyzing faults in hydraulic control systems and mechanical components.
  • Perform routine checks and maintenance tasks to prevent equipment breakdowns and ensure compliance with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Immediate response to equipment breakdown requests from supervisors.
  • Troubleshoot and analyze faults or problems encountered by cranes or transport equipment, applying corrective action to recover equipment quickly.
  • Carry out periodic maintenance and checks on cranes or transport equipment as scheduled.
  • Repair and reconditioning of mechanical or hydraulic parts.
  • Complete job record forms for each activity undertaken and return them promptly to supervisors.
  • Work under the guidance and supervision of a Mechanical Foreman, Service Supervisor, or Coordinator, seeking instruction if needed.
  • Keep immediate supervisors informed of activities, results, and potential problems, recommending corrective actions.
Requirements:
  • Minimum GCE 'O' Level holder or equivalent with at least 3 years of working experience in mechanical repair of cranes or related equipment.
  • NTC holder of Mechanical Engineering discipline with 2 years of related working experience is preferred.
  • Good working track record with exposure to mechanical and hydraulic control systems. Advantageous for those with experience in engine repair/maintenance.
  • Strong analytical skills and drive for results.
  • Pleasant personality and effective communication skills.
  • Team player and self-motivated.
  • Desire to work in a dynamic and challenging environment and build a career with a leading service provider for cranes and transport equipment.
  • Will to travel overseas on job assignments.
