Electrical/Mechanical Maintenance Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical/Mechanical Maintenance Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing electrical or mechanical troubleshooting to determine problems in non-functioning electro-mechanical equipment used in the manufacturing process.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in equipment maintenance and troubleshooting, as well as experience with semiconductor manufacturing processes and technologies. In addition, they must possess excellent communication skills and be able to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform electrical or mechanical troubleshooting to determine problems in non-functioning electro-mechanical equipment used in the manufacturing process
  • Dismantle, adjust, repair, and assemble equipment according to layout plans, blueprints, operating or repair manuals, rough sketches, or drawings
  • Use test and diagnostic equipment to perform checkouts
  • Rebuild engineering equipment as required
  • May perform equipment modifications as directed by engineers
  • Ensure record keeping and documentation in equipment tracking system
  • Perform preventive maintenance and calibrations on equipment
  • Respond to customer requests and prioritize customer requests accordingly
  • Follow safety procedures and area work rules including proper PPE, lockout, and chemical safety
  • Operate and maintain equipment and tools within manufacturers and company safety guidelines
  • Support internal and external audits
  • Product tracking and inventory controls
  • Work closely and liaise with machine vendors for equipment setup, modification/upgrade, and repair
  • Foster closer collaboration amongst cross-functional teams
  • Focus on customer needs and provide timely solutions
Requirements
  • Education:
  • Polytechnic Engineering Diploma or equivalent experience
  • Experience:
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant engineering experience
  • Skills:
  • Experience in equipment maintenance and troubleshooting is preferred
  • Knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing process and technologies is preferred
  • High level of cooperation with good communication skills
