Job Details Telok Kurau Primary School 50 Bedok Reservoir Road, Singapore Contract Duration: 1 January 2026 – 30 November 2026Working Hours: 7:45 AM – 4:15 PM (incl. 30‐min lunch break). Any 3 days per week, mutually agreed between Personnel & School. No work on Saturdays, Sundays, Public Holidays & June School Holidays. Scope of Services Counselling Support Provide individual & group counselling, under supervision of Senior School Counsellor. Confer with teachers, parents & external agencies on student cases. Refer students/families to community resources when needed. Provide crisis intervention and follow‐up support for critical incidents. Maintain accurate case consultation records & documentation. Syllabus, Programme & Wellness Support Support Senior Counsellor in developing & implementing school‐wide counselling programmes. Assist staff with training, consultation & wellness support. Collaborate frequently with: Teachers, Parents, School leaders, External partners (FSCs, MSF, ComLink, VWOs). Assist in content development and teaching resources. Operational Scope Conduct 1‐to‐1 counselling, small group sessions & large‐group wellness programmes. Facilitate sessions such as circle‐time, journaling, goal‐setting. Liaise with parents, teachers & agencies for complex cases. Assist in home visits with Senior Counsellor when required. Track student progress & support reviews of wellness policies/programmes. Provide crisis response & follow‐up support. Qualifications & Experience Qualifications (Minimum)Diploma or equivalent in Social Work, Psychology, Counselling or counselling qualifications recognised by Singapore Association for Counselling (SAC). Familiarity with counselling approaches for children (ages 7–12): Choice Theory, Narrative Therapy, Play Therapy, CBT/Person‐Centred Therapy, Solution‐Focused Brief Therapy, Adlerian Play Therapy, Mindfulness‐Based Counselling. Experience (Preferred)At least 2 years experience in school or community‐based social/youth work, preventive, developmental or intervention programmes. Experience working with children/adolescents. Familiarity with collaboration across schools, parents & agencies. Experience conducting after‐school programmes or group sessions (advantage).
