Project Cost Manager

As a seasoned professional in the field of construction management, we are seeking a highly skilled Project Cost Manager to join our team. This individual will be responsible for ensuring that all project costs are accurately estimated, managed, and controlled throughout the lifecycle of the project.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in quantity surveying and cost management, with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. They will be able to work closely with architects, engineers, contractors, and clients to ensure effective communication and project delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare, manage, and control construction project costs, including budgets, estimates, and tender documents.
- Administer construction contracts, including reviewing and advising on contract terms, conditions, and variations.
- Prepare and analyze cost estimates, including quantifying materials, labor, and equipment requirements.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate potential risks and disputes related to construction projects.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, identify potential issues, and ensure compliance with project specifications.
- Work closely with architects, engineers, contractors, and clients to ensure effective communication and project delivery.
- Manage and negotiate changes to project scope, budget, or timeline.
- Assist in resolving disputes and claims related to construction projects.
- Prepare and maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation related to project costs, progress, and issues.
- Able to communicate in English
- Diploma/Degree in Quantity Surveying, or a related field
- Proficient in MS Office and possesses good communication skills
- Able to work independently, be meticulous, analytical with excellent problem-solving skills, proactive & able to meet tight deadlines
