Project Cost Manager

As a Senior Cost Control Specialist, you will play a critical role in managing project costs and ensuring that projects are delivered within budget. You will work closely with clients and stakeholders to develop detailed cost plans, estimate costs of materials, labor, and equipment, and identify opportunities for cost savings.
Key Responsibilities:- To develop a comprehensive cost plan for the project, taking into account all relevant factors such as material costs, labor costs, equipment costs, and overheads.
- Participate in the tendering process by preparing and submitting tender documents to clients.
- Negotiate contract terms and conditions with clients, ensuring that the terms are fair and balanced.
- Be responsible for identifying and mitigating risks that could impact the project's cost, quality, or schedule.
- Collaborate with project teams to find cost-effective solutions to achieve desired project outcomes.
- Monitoring costs to ensure the project is delivered within budget.
- Managing variations, which are changes to the scope of work that may impact the project's cost or schedule.
- Assessing sub-contractor progress claims and issuing payments accordingly.
