Director of Controlled Environment Rooms
As the Director of Controlled Environment Rooms Design/Engineering at TriMark USA, the country's largest provider of design services, equipment, and supplies to the foodservice industry, you will play a crucial role in providing strategic leadership and oversight to the controlled environment rooms (CER) division within the organization. Reporting to the Divisional Sr. Director, Project Managers, you will lead a team of project engineers to drive excellence in CER project execution and ensure alignment with organizational goals.Your responsibilities will include setting clear goals and priorities for the CER division, optimizing project management processes, and enhancing overall divisional performance. You will mentor and coach the project engineering team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement. Additionally, you will oversee the planning, execution, and monitoring of key CER projects, ensuring adherence to project scope, schedule, and budget.As the primary point of contact for key stakeholders, including clients, executives, and project teams, you will manage stakeholder relationships, address concerns, and facilitate issue resolution to maintain alignment and support for project objectives. You will also be responsible for resource allocation and optimization, monitoring performance metrics, and generating reports for senior management to support strategic decision-making.To excel in this role, you must possess proficiency in reading building plans and specifications related to controlled environment rooms, strong CAD skills, and experience in designing and creating construction drawings. Exceptional leadership, strategic thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills are essential, along with a proven track record of successful project delivery in leadership positions within the field of designing and installing controlled room environments.Qualifications for this position include a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field, 10+ years of experience in a leadership role in designing and installing controlled room environments, and preferably a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification. Experience in refrigeration construction and proficiency in project management software and tools are advantageous.
