Director of Controlled Environment Rooms

As the leader of a high-performance team, you will play a crucial role in driving excellence in controlled environment rooms project execution and ensuring alignment with organizational goals.

Reporting to the Divisional Sr. Director, Project Managers, you will lead a team of experienced engineers to drive strategic planning, optimize project management processes, and enhance overall performance.

Your responsibilities will include setting clear goals and priorities for the controlled environment rooms division, streamlining project workflows, and fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.

You will mentor and coach the project engineering team, overseeing the planning, execution, and monitoring of key CER projects, ensuring adherence to project scope, schedule, and budget.

As the primary point of contact for key stakeholders, including clients, executives, and project teams, you will manage stakeholder relationships, address concerns, and facilitate issue resolution to maintain alignment and support for project objectives.

Additionally, you will be responsible for resource allocation and optimization, monitoring performance metrics, and generating reports for senior management to support strategic decision-making.

Exceptional leadership, strategic thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills are essential, along with a proven track record of successful project delivery in leadership positions within the field of designing and installing controlled room environments.

Qualifications for this position include a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field, 10+ years of experience in a leadership role in designing and installing controlled room environments, and preferably a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.

Experience in refrigeration construction and proficiency in project management software and tools are advantageous.
