Job Description & Requirements

  • IT technical support and operations services.
  • Troubleshooting Laptop/Desktop, email, software Issues.
  • Provide a helpdesk service for users enquiries and technical issue reporting on system usage, through phone and emails.
  • For Technical issues, make assessment if it can be resolved with the level of system access provided. Escalate unsolved case to other trams with in the stated SLA timing.
  • Familiar in Networking
  • Has provided some level 1 & 2 user support to end user and VIPs
  • Able to communicate clearly, work in a team .

Requirements:

  • Nitec/Higher Nitec or Diploma in Computer Technology
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Desktop Troubleshooting.
  • Willing to work in an Non camera phone environment.
  • Provide a helpdesk service for users' enquiries and technical issue reporting on system usage, through phone and emails.
    Maintain a record to track the status of the issues and enquiries raised. This record will be submitted as part of the monthly progress report. The information that needs to be recorded shall include, but is not limited to:

a) Caller information (Name, Department, Telephone Number, Email Address

b) Date and Time of user help desk call/request

c) Severity Level of the Problem

d) Type/Category/Sub-category of the problem

e) Problem description

f) Name of IT team escalated for response

g) Date and time of response

h) Status of resolution

i) Details of problem resolution

j) Date and time of problem resolution

k) Date and time of problem closure

l) Effort estimated and used

Technical Issues :Assess if the issue can be resolved with current system access.

Escalate unresolved cases to relevant teams within the defined SLA timeframe.
