Roles & Responsibilities
  • Network engineers shall support System Administrators in day to days operations, such as Data Center & network system health checks, network configuration & firmware upgrades, patch record management and serve as Point of Contact for visitor to IT Room.
  • Monitor DC temperature and energy consumption of all facility infrastructure components such as power distribution units and computer room air conditioners unit using Data Centre Infrastructure Management tools in place.
  • Monitor network devices health status using a network health monitoring tool in place.
  • Assist SA in performing scheduled system health check on standalone networks.
  • Report any anomaly in readings based allocated baseline or system hardware failure to SA.
  • Contacting maintenance team and be the point of contact on site.
  • Log finding in the infrastructure health check register.
  • Work with tech support team to perform port security lifting on network devices.
  • Configure network devices based on given template.
  • Verify and ensure network patch details are updated and labeled accurately as indicated.
  • New network faceplate and patch cables laid must be updated.

Requirements:

  • Degree or diploma in computer science or IT.
  • Minimum 3 year exp in Network engineering in Data center environment.
  • comfortable for non Camera Phone environment.
