Backend IC Physical Design Lead

Drive the physical design of complex chips from netlist to GDSII, leveraging expertise in P&R, formal verification, static timing analysis, and power management.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with front-end designers to finalize chip floorplans, clock architectures, and power plans.
  • Lead projects through design tapeout, including development, testing, and validation.
  • Investigate innovative physical design methods and develop automated design platforms.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in electronic engineering, microelectronics, or computer science.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in digital backend design, preferably with hands-on project experience and advanced technology tapeout.
  • Familiarity with TCL, Perl, or Python scripting, as well as EDA tools.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with a strong ability to motivate and lead teams.
