Job Title: Lead IC Backend Designer
Job Description:
We are seeking a talented physical design engineer to lead our team in developing cutting-edge ASIC designs. With a strong background in backend design and experience in managing complex projects, you will be responsible for collaborating with the front-end design team to complete chip floorplans, clock architectures, and power plans.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality ASIC designs that meet performance, power, and area requirements.
2. Lead physical design tasks from netlist to GDSII, including place and route, formal verification, static timing analysis, physical verification, power analysis, and tapeout.
3. Stay up-to-date with the latest process nodes and technologies, and develop innovative solutions to improve design efficiency and productivity.
Requirements:
1. Bachelor's degree or above in electronic engineering, microelectronics, or computer science.
2. At least 5 years of experience in digital backend design, with hands-on project experience required.
3. Strong knowledge of TCL, Perl, or Python scripting and EDA tool design is an advantage.
4. Excellent communication and leadership skills, with ability to motivate and guide team members.
5. Bilingual English proficiency for effective stakeholder coordination.
