Singapore FIRMENICH ASIA PTE LTD Full time

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Taste Application for Beverage, this role will support beverage application, evaluation and sample preparation. In addition, the technician would also support testing of prototypes and assist in general lab equipment maintenance.

Your key responsibilities
Prepare beverage bases comprise of any of the following - carbonated drink/ juice drink/ sports, energy, functional drink / Coffee & Tea/ alcoholic drinks/ powder drinks, apply flavouring and relevant processing condition (if any), to submit to clients based on various project briefs received.
Ensure consistency of beverage prototypes made every batch by checking various physical/ chemical parameters using instruments as refractometer, Acid Titrator, carbonation tester.
Perform physical stability check (e.g. clarity/ solubility/ separation potential) in relation to flavour in specific beverage bases @ various temperatures.
Facilitate daily evaluation of beverage prototypes.
Assist in Bulk sample preparation to conduct Flavour Stability test in finished beverages.
Co-create prototypes to be shown in client's innovation day.

You bring
Diploma or bachelor degree in Food Science, Chemistry or related field.
Prefer with minimum 1-3 years' experience in food industry or Lab.
Creative and Innovative: Ability to think outside the box and bring new ideas to seasoning formulations.
Open-Minded: Willingness to consider and explore different approaches and perspectives in product development.
Systematic and Logical Thinking: Strong problem-solving skills with a structured approach to project management.
