This role is responsible for shaping Singtel Singapore’s overall strategy and transformation agenda, with a strong focus on AI transformation as a core national priority, alongside strategic planning, corporate finance, and high-impact execution. The Director plays a critical role in embedding AI into Singtel SG’s business model as part of our AI-first telco ambitions. Make An Impact By Strategy Development & Planning : Support the Head of S&T in defining and refining Singtel Singapore’s strategy, including AI transformation roadmap and AI adoption across functions. Conduct robust, data-driven analysis to inform strategic choices. Develop CEO- and Board-level materials highlighting AI initiatives, value pools, and productivity gains. Corporate Finance & Transactions Develop an inorganic growth strategy to build strategic complement capabilities in telco, digital platforms, and AI-driven services. Evaluate acquisitions and partnerships in AI platforms, AI-enabled infrastructure, and adjacent digital ecosystems. Build investment cases quantifying AI synergies. Transformation & Strategic Initiatives Drive execution of enterprise-wide transformation programs, with focus on AI use cases in networks, customer experience, and enterprise solutions. Define KPIs and track delivery of AI business impact. Identify and embed external best practices by benchmarking against leading global AI-telco peers. Business Planning & Performance Management Lead the AOP and quarterly reviews with explicit inclusion of AI adoption targets, AI productivity gains, and workforce reskilling metrics. Translate AI strategy into measurable objectives for each business line. Act as a trusted advisor to senior executives on AI adoption priorities, AI workforce upskilling, and responsible AI governance. Skills To Succeed Degree in Business, Economics, Finance, or related field. MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred. 8–10 years total experience. Minimum 4–5 years in top-tier management consulting. Corporate finance and M&A experience. Sector experience in telecoms, AI, technology, or digital infrastructure. Track record of delivering strategic initiatives and enterprise-wide transformation.
