Responsibilities
As Manager/Senior Manager, Operations, guide the PIQ team to manage day-to-day operations on logistics and maintenance of SAF equipment in Australia.
Coordinate the requirements of the contract with SAF for SAF's exercise held in Shoalwater Bay Training Area, Rockhampton, including their logistical requirements and use of MINDEF's procurement system GEBIZ to ensure financial governance.
Provide administrative and operational support to the PIQ team, manage client meetings, and oversee contract governance.
Coordinate executive meetings, prepare materials, manage logistics, document minutes, and follow up on action items.
Review and edit reports, presentations, and business documents to ensure accuracy and confidentiality.
Serve as liaison between PIQ management, SATS, and the client; respond to inquiries to maintain effective communication across levels.
Assist in organizing PIQ events, conferences, and team-building activities in collaboration with other departments.
Support special projects with research, data analysis, and reporting; work with cross-functional teams to meet timelines and specifications.
Interface with SAF as a key point of contact and access confidential documents and planning processes, with appropriate security clearance.
Key Requirements
Familiarity with MINDEF's operations and logistics, or related operational functions (preferred).
Familiarity with Rockhampton (Queensland, Australia) is advantageous.
Ability to travel regularly to Rockhampton, Queensland, Australia to support PIQ management.
Functional skillsets: exceptional organizational and time-management abilities; strong communication and interpersonal skills; proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; ability to work independently and address challenges with strong problem-solving.
Attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and high-quality output.
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
Must obtain security clearance; CAT 2 security clearance from MINDEF Security Department due to supporting Singapore Armed Forces (SAF).
